European U17 Squash Silver Medal Winning Team
The Scotland’s Under 17 European Silver medal winning squash team were honoured by the First Minister, Alex Salmond at a special reception in the capital, to celebrate ‘Scottish Sporting Success’. The First Minister praised Scottish sporting success throughout the year, and afterwards took time to meet with the European silver medal winning team.
The West’s own Morgan McGuire from David Lloyd in Renfrew along with her team mates Greg Lobban, Douglas Kempsell, Ally McCorquodale and Mhairi Charlton (and coach Robin Hamill) all met Alex Salmond, who they told their story of success along with future goals, upcoming competitions and ongoing training schedules.
What a fantastic success for our U17 side and many congratulations to them all.
