Hi Jase, I hope all is well with you and yours, all’s OK at this end. You crossed my mind just yesterday. I was wondering how you were filling you day (I’m sure as usual you do not have a minute). How are you managing to stay at your usual peak of fitness ?

I’ve been doing a bit of cycling and it’s amazing how many people there are on the road these days . Initially 4 weeks ago the roads were pretty free of traffic but of late I would say there are as many vehicles trying to knock me into the hedge as ever there was.

Had occasion to visit Halfords the other day and of the 12 customers in front of me ,all sticking to strict distancing rules were buying bikes. How many of these bikes will ever be used in anger I’m not so sure , something which seemed to be a good idea at the time. I didn’t see many sets of mudguards being bought , it’s a bit scary on the open road today and the bridle ways come canal paths are busy with dog walkers etc.

However I wish them luck although I think most velocipedes will end up in the spare room with that guitar which was last years good Idea.

Been watching some squash from the past , just love watching Elshorbagy (either one) getting thrashed.

Hope to get back to normal soon , see you about.

Hi Iain, great to hear from you and thanks for the message. I’m all good thanks for asking and my ‘medical type’ bed business is going on, so keeping me busy-ish!
My normal peak of ‘fatness’ is not under any imminent sign of disappearing! Although I’m still trying to do my PT and going for walks, but that doesn’t really cut it when it comes to not being able to play squash does it?
I was thinking of buying a bike myself before all this started, but it was mainly for getting back from the Whitecraigs LT&SC back bar after a couple!!
Look forward to seeing you when the new normal comes. Having said that I haven’t got Covid so if you haven’t either, we could have a game today!! 🙂
