Alan Clyne PSA Squash Rising Star
For the third time in three months Alan Clyne has taken another step towards the top 50 players in the world. He’s risen 6 place to a new career high of No.#68 in the January 2010 PSA World Rankings.
Recent tournaments in Rhode Island, Leinster as well as Alan’s first round debut in the World Open in Kuwait have all helped provide this fantastic 2010 Hogmanay high-ranking for the Harrow man.
YoungSTARS Junior Squash Tournament in Glasgow
This weekend (12th & 13th Dec ’09) saw over 50 YoungSTARS play the Christmas Tournament at Newlands. Billy Stevely, the Giffnock coach, brought a very strong contingent who took 8 of the prizes on offer.
Emma Ford and myself ran the Harrow sponsored tournament on Saturday morning for the younger players and Sunday afternoon for the older ones and we were delighted with the 53 players who participated and we were also very impressed with the ever improving standards on show.
