Jack, Maddie & Ben are looking forward to 2017 as the Scottish Squash Junior Open begins hard on the heels of Hogmanay from the 7th January.

The prestigious ‘Scottish Junior Open’ is being played at two venues this year as both ‘Edinburgh Sports Club’ and ‘The Grange Club’ in Edinburgh share the European Tour Tournament for the first time.
And the Orr family are getting ready as Jack & Maddie (under-17 category) & Ben (under-15s) are among the leading home challengers for the tournament, which will feature players from all over the world.
The Open takes place from 7-9 January and the Orrs are hoping to continue a great tradition of success for Crieff High School players including Scotland’s senior capped players Rory Stewart, Claire Gadsby.
Best of luck to Maddie, Jack, Ben and all the other Harrow sponsored players who will be competing in 2017.
Chanel VAS $100K – St Georges Hill Open 2016
A couple of shocks during qualifying at the brand new PSA event in Surrey (with the highest prize money on offer in the UK) as Tom Richards and Alan Clyne lost today.
Qualifying ends on Wednesday and the 1st round features the World No.1, Mohamed Elshorbagy & as well as the recent runner up at the A.J.Bell British Grand Prix, James Willstrop #gonnabeacracker 
Doug Kempsell wins again! This time the Berlin Airport Xmas Challenger 2016
Its been a great week for the Scottish contingent around Europe and Dougie Kempsell kept things going in the right direction last weekend in Berlin at the 2016 Airport Christmas Challenger.
He upset the seedings by beating Adam Murrills, the No.1 seed (and World Ranked PSA 104) in the quarter finals in a massive 3-2 (12-10 in the 5th) then took out the 4th seed in the next round and finally won the final in 4 games against Mohammad Al Sarraj in front of a crown of almost 5000 people!!
These last two tournament wins should propel Dougie back up the rankings and maybe even to his highest ranking to date – watch this space!
Kevin Moran Wins the Boston BSPA Open 2016
Many Congratulations to Kev Moran won the BSPA Boston Open 2016 in Lincolnshire at the weekend.
As you can see from the draw there was a strong Scottish contingent at the tournament with Jamie Henderson & Rory Stewart both joining Kevin in the semi-finals and they all upset the seedings to show the strength of squash at the top level in Scotland at the moment.

A convincing win for a delighted Nick Matthew who beat his old rival James Willstrop in the final of the A.J.Bell British Grand Prix.
